About the 2U Vision® Brand
As an ABO-certified optician with years of experience managing optical stores and then serving the residents of assisted living facilities, Petra Kodrack noted a need for high-quality optician services in those communities. She partnered with Paul Koda, an engineer and attorney, whose background includes designing and bringing products to market, to form the brain trust behind the 2U Vision brand.
Petra and Paul complement each other perfectly both in terms of skill and vision and are excited to bring the 2U Vision experience directly to your community. As part of this growing company, Petra and Paul offer decades of combined experience in eyewear and other consumer markets. Read on to learn more about their backgrounds.

Paul is both an engineer and an attorney. As an engineer, he has extensive experience in the energy, automotive, and consumer healthcare sectors, where he spent much of his career designing and bringing products to market. As an attorney, Paul has transactional and litigation experience in intellectual property matters. Most recently, Paul served as Chief Operating Officer for a small startup in the beverage industry. He takes on a similar role with 2U Vision, LLC as both the head of Operations and General Counsel, where he manages a growing portfolio of eyewear and optical intellectual properties.

Petra has 20 years of experience in the optical world. She is American Board of Opticianry certified and has a reputation for developing stores in the optical industry. She was able to accomplish this by hiring teams with integrity and a great work ethic and then training them in superior customer service. She is an expert in lenses and possesses a quantifiable trade secret method for fitting eyewear that enhances the beauty of any individual.
Petra also has operational experience with assisted living facilities, and an intimate understanding that functional and fashionable eyewear is important for the continued happiness of residents living in such communities.
